“Our Experience is Your Security” is the tagline for Metairie-based Pinnacle Security, Inc., and investments in upper and mid-level management, infrastructure, and the company’s first expansion via acquisition, have all resulted in an increased profitability over the last three years.

Pinnacle Security reports $13 million in revenue in 2023, up 81% over the 2022 reported revenue of $7.2 million, and a 160% three-year growth from $5 million in 2021.

“There has been a lot of consolidation in our industry over the past few years with the large multinational companies that creates a gap in the mid-level market. We recognized that and decided to invest in upper and mid-level management and infrastructure that has allowed us to capitalize on those opportunities,” said Pinnacle Security Founder/CEO Chad Perez. “Those investments have paid off in the quality of service we’re able to provide to our clients.”

In February 2023, Pinnacle Security completed its first acquisition, bringing in Paradigm Security Services, Inc., a longstanding security services company in Atlanta. “It allowed us to enter that market, and we are extremely optimistic about our growth in that market,” Perez said. “We are focused on scaling up our Atlanta office over the next 12-24 months and continuing to provide top tier service to all of our clients.”

Perez said staffing remains the highest priority to maintain their labor needs while continuing to grow. “People are our product, so like everyone in our industry we have been facing challenges with the labor market. These challenges began in April 2021 and while we have seen some improvements in the last year, staffing remains our highest priority,” said Perez. “We are also working on career development opportunities within our company that will keep us at the forefront of recruiting top talent and give our employees more opportunities for advancement.”

Perez founded Pinnacle Security in 2011, leveraging his years of experience with the New Orleans Police Department. The company provides businesses throughout the Gulf South with physical security, security patrol, virtual guard service, and emergency/disaster response. All operations are monitored by a Command Center, which is staffed 24 hours a day by trained and experienced security professionals. Pinnacle Security’s managers and executive team have over a century of supervisory experience in civilian law enforcement and private security sectors.

“Our goal is operational excellence. Our core values are Service, Professionalism, Respect, and Accountability, and we ensure that we deploy the most experienced and well-trained personnel to service our clients,” said Perez. “All Pinnacle’s Security Officers are vetted by our thorough recruitment process and come to us with extensive either prior law enforcement experience, military service, or a minimum of two years of experience working as a security officer.”
